It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Sonja Carson (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elliott Carson; and her parents, Katie Kardash (Katerina) and Jacob Kardash. She is survived by: her children, Donald Carson (Mary) of Edmonton, Alta, Lorne Carson (Elizabeth) of Calgary and Sonia King (Bill) of Belleville, Ont.; her grandchildren, Benjamin, James Carson, Zachary, Seth Carson, Christine Botha (Anton), David, Daniel King, Ada Carson and Alice Botha; and her sisters, Evelyn Kardash of North Vancouver and Rose Ann McDonald of Belleville.

Irene cared about those in need and donations to Gleaners Food Bank or The Arthritis Society would be welcomed.
