Helena Oosting Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helena Oosting in Belleville, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Feike Oosting; her children, Bettie (late Harry) and Jan; her grandchildren, Helena (Jeff), Tanya (Jon), Paul (Tara), Vanessa (Travis), Sarah (Chris), Johan (Jill), Colin (Danielle) and Rachel (Wayne); and her siblings, Johan, Jan, Leentje and Jo.
She is survived by: her child Roelie Vanderlaan (Walter); and her sister Jeanne Evers (Anton). She is also survived by her many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weaver Family Funeral Home (29 Bay St, Quinte West, ON K8V1H2). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
