She was predeceased by: her husband John Nelson; her parents, John Lemaistre (Jack) and Florence Lemaistre; her siblings, Shirley McAuliffe (Ivan), Jackie Brunelle (Peter) and Edward Lemaistre (Teddy); and her niece Joanne Seymour.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Nelson (Shelley Gagne) and Jackie Murphy (Norm); her grandchildren, Sarah, Ben, Natalie, Taylor (Kailey) and Dillon (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Max, Flynn and June; her friend Sarah McCluney (Sadie); her daughter-in-law Debi Nelson; her niece Nancy Cormier (Bob); and her nephew Peter Brunelle (Trish).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward or BGH oncology, would be appreciated by the family.
