He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine "Karen" Bassett (Peters); and his parents, Vera Bassett (Holland) and Douglas Bassett. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie (Aurelie), Stephen, Julie, Shelly, Jim Way, Kirkland, Laura (Michaila), Daryl and Lisa (Leah). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
