With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garnet Thain (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on July 27, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Fay Thain Nickle; his son Harry Nickle (Irene); his parents, Frederick Thain and Ivah Thain; and his brother Raeburn Thain of Sudbury.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Majid (Abdul) of Brampton, Brenda Dumais (Richard) of Belleville, Richard Nickle (Lori) of Marmora and Dawn Brett (Gerry) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Jon, Shaun, Shane, Tara, Andre, Shannen, David and Sarah; his stepgrandchildren, Lisa, Kim and Scott; and his sister Helen Rodgers of Campbellford. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
