He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Monica Maines (Whalen); his children, Cathy Gunning (Doug), Steve Maines (Vicki), Deb Kinsman (late Wes) and Brian Maines (Chrissy Holmes); his grandchildren, Laurason (Kelly Ann), Brad, Emma (Steve), Luke (Brooke), Logan (Josie), Taylor (Hannah) and Cam; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Mackenzie, Henry, Millie, Darla, Jemma and Louie; his siblings, Helen Hinze (late El) and Grant Maines (Cecilia); his extended family, David (Susan), Brittany, Dustin (Sydney), Graham and Mark (Maureen); his siblings-in-law, Teresa Cassidy and Don Sherrow; his nieces and nephews, Gary, Jean, Donna, Diane (Jim), Shirley (Paul), Karen (late Rick), Connie (Al), Dianne (George), Dean (Susan), Cindy (Matt), Gloria (Chris) and David (Starla); his parents, Mary Maines (Colden) and Willie Maines; and his siblings, Burt Maines (Ruth), Mildred Preston (Fred), Lois McInroy (Don) and Lynn Maines.
