With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Mary Clark of Belleville, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wessels and Mary Wessels; her former husbands, Reg Sprackett and George Clark; and her siblings, Ruth Ross (late Bill), Marie Vannest (late Gerald), Shirley Doran, Bob Wessels, Arnold Wessels, Walter Wessels (late Bernice) and Ted Wessels (late Muriel).

She is survived by: her husband John Schofield; and her stepchildren, Ann (late Bob), Linda (late Larry), Andrew (Cynthia) and Melissa (Luke).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville (80 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R4). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

It was great when Aunt Ev and Uncle Reg would come over for a visit or Holidays, usually to have a meal and play some cards. Maybe even let me sit in on a game or two.
