He was predeceased by: his parent Elmer Shiers; and his spouse Linda Joan Shiers. He is survived by: his parent Gladys Shiers; his children, Deborah Shiers, Michele Cotton (Harold) and Tamara Shiers; his grandchildren, Cheryl (Mike), Christina, Jennifer, Wesley (Tayler), Grayson, Jake, Harold, Nathaniel, Emily and Patrick; his sibling Mabel McMenemy (Mack); and his nieces and nephews, Sean (Jenn) and Erin.
