He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Shelden and Minnie Shelden (Goyette); his wife Marguerite (Margie); and his siblings, Archie, Lawrence, Wayne and Louise Rolleston.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Kelly) of Stirling, ON, Robert of Sydney, NS and Jan (Chris Power) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
