It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol Ann McKeown (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 82, on May 1, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Joseph McKeown; her children, Penny Minor, Kevin and James Harris Babcock; and her siblings, Adeline, Earl, Jack and Harold.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Martin (Stuart) of Mississauga; her grandchildren, Robert (Bob), Leah, Ashley, Krista and Coady; her nieces, Wanda Cole and Nicole Turner; and her nephew Josh.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to do so, may make a donation to Saint Vincent de Paul Society, where Carol spent many years volunteering with the people she considered her family.

“Carol In a movie I saw recently, a man was helping a grieving woman who asked him why he was helping a total stranger. He said “You were in my path”. Carol helped the people ‘in her path’. She fed them, laughed with them, played ukulele and board games with them. Most importantly she SAW them. She didn’t ask, she gave. She made lemonade out of the many lemons in her life.
