He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Vance and Edna Vance; and his wife Donna Vance. He is survived by: his siblings, Everett "Sy", Marjorie, Donald, Lyle, Elmer, Geary, Douglas, Lorraine, Shirley, Vera, Unknowingly and Alvin Vance (Marlene); his sisters-in-law, Caroline Vance and Jackie Vance; his daughters, Kelly Bannister (Mark) and Julia Wever (Jacob); his grandchildren, Jesse (Sarah), Kayla, Cassie (Ali) and Katrina (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Aydin, Liam, Aurora, Nannette, Sabrina, Griffin, Pheobe and Belle.
