He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Quaile; and his sisters, Sylvia Winters and Ruth Bryan. He is survived by: his children, Kimberley Soeder (Ralf), Leanne Britten (Mark) and Russell Quaile; his grandchildren, Addison Soeder (James Retief), Emmi Wong (Alex Wong), Jamison Soeder, Leah Thomas (Leigh Thomas) and Jillian Schwitek (Jason Schwitek); and his great grandchildren, Marty Wong, Zoe, Danica Thomas, Kristyn and Nevaeh Schwitek.
