It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn King (Belle River, Ontario), who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Shawn's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn; his parents, Robert King and Ellen King; his son Dawson King (Emma Nettleton); and his siblings, Chantelle Menard (Jasen) and Darcy King (Kaitlyn).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St, Belle River, ON N0R1A0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In kindness, memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation (Cardiology Program or NICU) would be appreciated by the family.
