He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shiell and Pearl Shiell (Congram); his brother Jack Shiell (Bonnie); and his brother-in-law Jack Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Barb Shiell of Belgrave; his children, Pat, Jamie Hackett of Point Clark, Cathy, Mike Pletch of Kitchener, Heather Shiell of Belgrave, Brad Shiell and Pete O'Hehir of Sydney, Australia.; his grandchildren, Brett Hackett (Amanda), Chad Hackett (Rebecca), Cole Hackett, Nicole Pletch (Brett) and Jenna Pletch (Danilo); his great grandchildren, Julia and Owen; his sisters, Doris Stephens of London and Marilyn Shiell of London; and his brother-in-law Jim Bradley of Goderich.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Belgrave Arena Board or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or would be appreciated.
