He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Harriss and Mary Harriss (Vyse). He is survived by: his wife Jo-Ann (Clayton); his children, Andrea Gow (Tyler) and Chris Harriss (Carrie); his grandchildren, Quinn, Oliver, Corbin and Penelope; his siblings, Patricia Malanczyj (Roman), Margaret Clayton (Bradley), Alexis McKean (late Malcolm) and Steven; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Clayton, Fred Clayton (Bonnie) and Terry Clayton (Penny). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
