She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Drake and Effie Drake; her husband Ivan Smith; her brothers, George (Helen), Harvey and Keith; and her siblings-in-law, Freida Haney (Wib), Stan and Orville (Isobel).

She is survived by: her children, Randy, Doug (late Maureen), Shelley Ambing (Yancy), Brad and Kelley Parliament (Neil); her grandchildren, Kyra (Adam), Kaylie (Kyle), Brett (Deanna), Cory (Kaitlyn), Shawna, Travis (Jocelyn), Mitchell (Christyna), Joshua (Jessica), Ashley (Rob), Justin, Alicia (Lucas), Brittany (Matt) and Brendan (Karyn); her sisters, Faye Lloyd (Charlie), Dale Drake (Bonnie), Dean (late Alma), June Beddows (Daryl) and Donna Scott (Jim); and her sister-in-law Pam (late Keith). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
