It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Charles Bertrim (Beaverton, Ontario), who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Lorraine and Margaret; and his sister Helen Morrison (Ron). He is survived by: his close friend Gayle; his children, Cheryl Mangan (Frank) and George Bertrim (Deborah); his stepson Gary Graham (Diane); his grandchildren, Chris Verbrugghe, Breanna Coxon (Jamie), Jonathan Graham (Megan), Whitney Brown (Adam), Jeffrey Bertrim and Andrew Bertrim (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Tate, Connor, Jordyn and Noah; his siblings, Jean Urwin (Ken), John Bertrim (Cecilia) and Birdie Hood (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Reta Graham and Tom Graham (Margaret). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated by the family to Sick Kids Hospital Campfire Circle (Camp Ooch Camp Trillium Corporation) campfirecircle.org for childhood cancer or to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
