He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Spyrka and Rose Spyrka; his wife Margaret; his son Douglas; his granddaughter Nikki; his sister Cassie; and his siblings-in-law, Molly and Raymond.

He is survived by: his children, Dorion, Phyllis (Les), Beverly and Larry (Charlene); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Emory, Aliyah, Zachary, Alexis and Keaghan; and his siblings, Peter (Peggy), Lorraine and Pauline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Parkinson's Foundation are welcome in memory of Ernie.
