She was predeceased by: her husband Jack A. Laing; her sisters, Dorine Dick, Phylis Laidlaw and Alberta Schmidt; her brothers-in-law, Bill Laidlaw and Jack Schmidt; and her grandson Mark Laing.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie (Dale Hatch), Stuart (Brenda) and Scott (Andrea); her brother-in-law Robert Dick; and her grandchildren, Scott (Megan), Karey (Jesse Vandermaas), Jack, Michael, Julia and Katherine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
