She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Clayson; and her granddaughter Sherri Merritt. She is survived by: her children, Beverley Merritt (Karl), Bob Clayson (Debra), Virginia Merritt (John) and Ed Clayson (Wendy); her grandchildren, Heidi Carrigan (Ryan), Vanessa Myers (Sean), Brenda (Michael), Angela Brnjas (Matthew), Christy Daley (Andrew), Ian Merritt (Christina), David Merritt (Mellisa), Graham Clayson (Emma) and Maxwell Clayson (Annie); her siblings, Helen Giesbrecht (Jake) and Ben Friesen (Joan); and her siblings-in-law, Carol Friesen, Lois Clayson, Mary Clayson and Harrold Clayson.
