She was predeceased by: her husband Willis Hawthorne; her daughter Brenda Nieuwenhuis (Barry); her parents, James McBride and Isabel McBride; and her siblings-in-law, Averil Davidson (Albert), Irene Kenney (Robert), Versal Hawthorne (Velma), Wilma Read and Percy Hawthorne (Reta).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Kraiker, Judy Hawthorne and Trudy Hawthorne; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Tabatha), David (Caitlin), Luke, Kaleb Nieuwenhuis (Monica), Kyle (Jennifer), Brendan Kraiker (Armika), Adam Countryman and Andy Hawthorne; her great grandchildren, Logan (Jonathan), Willis, Stuart (David), Henry Nieuwenhuis (Kaleb), Owen, Evelyn (Kyle) and Nina Kraiker (Brendan); her sister Marilyn Robinson (late Darl); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Stephens (Emmett). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
