He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hoffman and Jean Hoffman; his granddaughter Allie; his brothers, Darcy (Loretta), Clarence (Lorraine) and Carson; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Marina Ready.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen Hoffman; his daughters, Shelley and Paula (Mark) of Edson, AB.; his grandchildren, Cameron (Khala) and Donavon Wright (Alex); his siblings, Vi Keuhl (Allan), Freddy (Lorna), Bobby (Joyce), Sandra Marquardt (Bob) and Rick; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Murphy (Lou), Pat Ready (Clare), Angela McEachen (John) and Kevin Ready.
