He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Pyke (Sutton); and his siblings, Kay Gibb (Bob), Louis (Elsie), Harry (Doris) and Steven.
He is survived by: his children, Christine, Jim Charlebois of Victoria Harbour, Claire Pyke of Bayfield, Paul, Shelley Pyke of Severn Bridge and Janice Pyke (late Jim Symes) of Teeswater; his grandchildren, Angela Summers, Ty Matty of Victoria, BC, Sarah Summers, Dennis Clark of Chatham, Jennifer Summers of Dresden, Derrick, Sherry Pyke of Cold Lake, AB, Keira, Nick McNab of Gravenhurst, Jesse and Jackie Symes of London; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Emalee, Sparrow, Ariel, Auzzie, Ava and Alex; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Pyke of North York. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family friends.
