Jessie (Ramach) Beatty Obituary
With dignity and grace, by the side of her husband and children, our beloved matriarch Jessie Beatty passed through our hands to join our other loved ones.
Jessie is survived by her husband Allan Thomas Beatty, children Rick (Phyllis), Terry (Miles), Douglas (Lupe), David (Andrea), Donna (Don), and Khrys; grandchildren Clare, Brendan, Rhyanne, Evan, Sarah, Frances, Danielle, Tara, Kristen, Alexandra, Grace, Jenniffer, Antonella, Stephanie, Devon, Michael, Logan, Shannon, Calahan, Tyler, Jamie, Chad, Jazmin, and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her oldest son, Ross.
Born December 22, 1934 in Toronto, Jessie was the only child of Antonina (Pozh) and Walter Ramach.
Jessie was an accomplished artist. With a vast range of interests from painting, rug hooking, knitting, to her tireless talents in baking.
A great listener with laser focus, Jessie lived each day through the shared experiences of her husband, children and grandchildren.
Jessie was a fighter. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018 she refused to give an inch to this debilitating disease. Her unrelenting strength prevailed until February 16, 2020, two days after Allan and Jessie’s 67th wedding anniversary.
Jessie’s wit, love, and support will be greatly missed in our daily lives.
She will be forever with us.
The family would like to thank the doctors at the Kingston General Hospital Palliative Care Centre and all the nurses at CBI Home Health for all their support.
The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, in loving memory of Jessie Beatty.
