She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Batawa and Midland; her husband Josef; her children, Katherine (John), Barbara (Paul), Mark (Vicky) and Peter (Kim); and her grandchildren, Tanya, Leah, Joseph, Bryce, Kristin, Danae, Aiden, Jenna and Evan.

Since Dana was a passionate nature-lover, donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation or the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation (cardiac research) can be made.
