With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tessie Mary Spence of Barrys Bay, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tessie Mary Spence to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smaglinski and Agnes Smaglinski (Norlock); her husband Donald Rabishaw; and her grandchildren, John Fulford (Shelly) and Trinity.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Rabishaw and Joseph Rabishaw (Kandi); her grandchildren, Natalie Klatt (Michael), Edward, James Wahrbickler, Dawn and Angel Rabishaw; her siblings, Zigmond Smaglinskie (late Clara), Theresa Shulist (late Bobby), Margaret Hartwick (Terry), Philomena Martin and Lori Carr (Charly); her goddaughter Andrea Spencer (Michael); her pets, Tinker, Tiny, Ginger and Cocateil; and her caregiver Lisa. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Hedwig's church, Barry's Bay, in Tessie's memory.
