It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Genevive Shalla of Barrys Bay, Ontario, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic Shalla; her parents, Mary Ann Herron (Yakabuski) and John Herron Sr.; and her siblings, Frances (late Eddie Palbiski), Josephine (late Wilfred Cowan), Annie Herron, Julian (late Agnes), Philip, John Jr. (late Marie), Joe (late Adeline) and Frank (late Leona).
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Anna Mary), Linda, Roseanne and Beverly; her grandchildren, Chad, Jason (Karen), Mark, Dwayne (Rachel) and Donna; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Audrey, Xavier, Christopher (Yhen) and Darryl (Brenda); her godchildren, Basil (late Harry Herron), David Cowan, Brenda Stamplecoski, Lori Prokopetz, Karen and Elaine Shalla; her siblings, Catherine (Gerry Hogan) and Dennis; her friend Mary Vincent (Malone); and her sisters-in-law, Agnes Herron and Alice (Ronnie Shalla). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Godchildren, friends.
