William Gillespie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2021, at the age of 82, William Gillespie (Barrie, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Gillespie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, William and Marion; and his siblings, Joyce, Phyllis, John, Brian and Paul.

He is survived by: his children, Joanne (Jo), Hunter (Leroy), Glenn (Robyn) and Bernie (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jodi (James) and Lindsay (Craig); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Brady, Mady and Emma; his great great grandchildren, Myah and Owen; his siblings, Wilma, Fred, Alan (Vera), Ray (Marjorie), Don (Debbie) and Bill; and his sister-in-law Deb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 a Celebration of Vern's life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the RVH Trauma, or Surge ICU units, or Toronto Western ICU unit.
