In loving memory of Vera (McQuarrie) Lavigne (Barrie, Ontario), who departed this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 104. Vera leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ellen Carroll and Daniel Hugh McQuarrie; her siblings, Leonard McQuarrie, Parker McQuarrie, Joseph McQuarrie and June McQuarrie Thompson; her husband Cy Lavigne; and her daughter Marina Lavigne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna and Sandra; her nephew Chuck McQuarrie; and her caregiver Ardi.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (650 Essa Rd, Barrie, ON L4N9E6).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Specialized Seniors Care Unit, Barrie Ontario, or to Holy Spirit Catholic Church Barrie, Ontario.
