It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Chappel (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on August 31, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Grant and George Grant; her brother Bill Grant (Rose); and her husband Maurice "Deac" Chappel. She is survived by: her sister Joyce Grant; her children, Sandra Green (Ken), Delcie Johnston (Don), Paul Chappel (Maureen Mcgraw), Brenda-Jane McCartney (Rick), Sherry Borho (Paul), Lisa Hooker (Doug) and Krista Crockford; her grandchildren, Mark, Brad Green, Jeffrey, Jenny Johnston, Brooke, Taryn Chappel, Matthew, Melissa McCartney, Joslyn Benham, Branden Borho, Chantal Soper, Brittany, Hayden Hooker, Corey Crockford and Holly Campeau; her niece Tracy; and her nephew Colin.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Grove Park Home or Hospice Simcoe would be greatly appreciated by the family.
