She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Kenneth; her children, Shane, Shari, Shawna and Valerie; her caregiver Valerie of Women's Health Centre; her close friend Dr. Jerry Zownir; and her grandchildren, Mathew, Ava and Jake. She was also cherished by mom loved her children and grandchildren.
She also performed in many charity events often skating as a dance pair with her long-time friend and former NHL celebrity Eddie Shack of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
