It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Joan Ward (Barrie, Ontario), born in Alliston, Ontario, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her children, Noel and Maureen; her siblings, Shirley and Ellen; and also, Reta, Ruby, Eddie and Gloria.

She is survived by : her children, Joan, Angela (Bob), Marsha (Joseph), Frederick, Ben (Elaine), Lawrence (Shannon) and James (Sarah). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; many (great) nieces, (great) nephews.

A reception was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lounge of Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M 6T5).

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Barrie Food Bank or the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Paediatric Unit.
