He is survived by: his wife Mary; his father Rod Lynne (Myrna); his brother Sean (Joy); his children, Mitchell (Keri), Samantha (Chantz) and Maureen; and his grandchild Mackenzie.
With COVID-19 restrictions still in place, there will be a small private funeral for family and a few close friends, with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
Memorial donations can be made in Scott's honour to Earthroots, an environmental organization, or Lost Boys Hope, a local dog rescue.
