We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rose Florence (Hancock) Carter of Barrie, Ontario, born in Botwood, Newfoundland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Thomas; and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by: her husband Michael Carter; her brother Retis; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Hancock and Pat Romkey; and her children, Bob (Mary), Linda (Don), Dennis (Rose) and Michael (Angie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
