He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heather Dickson; his children, Ian Dickson and Linda Riddle (Gerald Pilkington); his grandchildren, Kirk Riddle (Elizabeth Barclay) and Jennifer Riddle (Erik Davison); his great grandchildren, Sofia and Colin Riddle; and his siblings, Allan Dickson (Elinor) and Corinne Smales (late Donald).
