It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Smith (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on May 22, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth; his mother Ethel Smith of Creemore; his sister Helen Oliver; his sister-in-law Evelyn Edwards (late Bev); his children, Helen Jermey (Rick) of Severn, Linda Wellwood (Lyle MacArthur) of St. George and Jeffrey Smith (Michelle) of Barrie; his grandchildren, Michael Jermey (Lila), Nicole Wellwood, Cory Stuart Jermey (Sarah), Christopher, Kailey and Kaiden David Stuart Smith; his great grandchildren, Logan, Evan, Tyson, Sydney, Sadie and Morgan; and his friends, Robert Anderson (Uncle Bobbi), Bill Philpott, Roy, Millie Keller, Norma, Ed Sayles and Dee Kemp of New Smyrna Beach. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
