He was predeceased by: his mother June; his stepfather Ken Fagan; his father Bernard Sides; and his siblings, Kim and Mark Fagan.

He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Bauchman; his daughter-in-law Amanda (Stanley); his mother-in-law Cheryl Sutherland; and his brothers, Jack, Larry and Steven Sides. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
