He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Georgina; and his siblings, Jean, Fay and Mathew.

He is survived by: his wife Christine; his sons, Richard (Gail), Andy (Michelle), Christopher, George and Robert; his grandchildren, Jason (Susan), Sarah (Michael), Corey (Katie), Tanis, Justin (Emma), Kyleigh, Savannah and Maddi; and his siblings, Ann, David (Irene), John (Margaret) and Patrick (Cathy). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
