Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rachel Lavoie (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 78, on October 2, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dieudonné Lavoie and Gilberte Trudeau of Sudbury, ON.. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Sauvé and Josée Sauvé (Marc); her grandchildren, Tiffany, Zakary, Brendan and Jenelle; her great grandchild Audrey; and her siblings, Richard (late Marie), Pauline (Bernie), Roger, Gisèle and Marcel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and all her wonderful friends.

“It is with a very deep heart that I send this message to Rachel ‘s family. I had the pleasure of hiring Rachel as the Office Supervisor at CVDCS. She became my friend and right hand at the school. Rachel was the Supervisor any principal would have been fortunate to work with. I loved her work ethic, creativity, dedication loyalty and commitment . She always went the extra mile to make our school better. I send my deepest sympathy thoughts and prayers.”
