She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Slaughter; her son Jim (Barbara); and her siblings, Marg, Bertha, Herbie and William.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Carol), Jack (Debbie) and Roy (Meredith); her grandchildren, Steve Jr., Tom, Rebecca, Jeff, Danielle, Carly and Jade; her great grandchildren, Tyson, Cooper, Nathan, Mathew and Jace; and her sister Mary.
