He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Huntley and James Lord Miles; his brother Christopher; and his daughter Kimberly. He is survived by: his wife Cavell; his children, Michael (Leanne), Chris (Kim), Graham (Stephanie), Jennifer (Tom) and Kelly; his sister Jenifer; and his grandchildren, Avery and Finn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
