She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ashfield Joynt; her parents, Lisle Rosebush and Winnifred Rosebush; and her brother John Rosebush (Joan). She is survived by: her children, Maryanne Nardi of Calgary, Geoffrey Joynt (Dorothy) of California, Elizabeth "Betsy" Healey (late Gerry) of Peterborough and Melissa Joynt (John Parkin) of Wasaga Beach; her grandchildren, Saverio (Allison), Alyssa (Jas), Jared (Jessica), Sarah (Michael), Stephanie (JT) and Kevin; and her great grandchildren, Micah, Quinn, Taylor, Malachi and Leo. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
