She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Siddall (Laila) and Anita Persson-Davis. She is survived by: her spouse Bill Bookalam; her children, William Marles and Holly Hawkins (Jeff); her siblings, Leslie Siddall (Julia) and Doug Siddall; her sibling-in-law Roy Bookalam (Eileen); and her grandchildren, Henry Hawkins and Hannah Hawkins. She is also survived by many friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria's memory may be made to the Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family.
