She is survived by: her children, Carl Murphy (Marsha), Peter Murphy (Christina), Kevin Murphy (Debra), Shannon Murphy (Jim), Brian Murphy (Charline), Margaret Higgins (John) and Maureen Owen (Brad); her grandchildren, Kelly (Kevin), Mike (Michelle), Toni (Michael), Jennifer (Eli), Shawn (Serena), Sarah, Matthew (Jamie), Christopher (Allie), Patrick, Dan (Sarah), Ryan (Mieke), Brent (Jennifer), Lindsay (Jamie), Nicole (Mike), Shannon (Joe), Megan, Ivan (Oliwia) and Alora; her great grandchildren, Brandon (Lauren), Taylor (Bill), Madison, Brady, Liam, Tyler, Rai-Ann, Dawson, Ava, Paige, Cole, Harrison, Austin, Corey, Everley, Carling, James, Emma, Noah, Avery, Harper, Nolan, Leah, Evelyn, Lydia, Logan, Emerson and Rosemary; her great great grandchildren, Kane and Franki; and her sister Marion Gowanlock (Frank).

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel, Barrie Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
