She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Simpson of Barrie; her son Daniel Simpson; her grandson Andrew; and her sisters, Dorothy (Joe Young) of Huntsville, Ellen (Clifford Smith) of Orillia and Linda (Jack Campbell) of Ajax.

She is survived by: her son Howard Simpson (Karen) of Barrie; and her grandchild Ashley (John Bursey).

Donations in Margaret's memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe as they provided wonderful caregiving by the staff and volunteers.
