She was predeceased by: her husband James Lanting; her parents, Earl Bailey and Iva Bailey (Outman); and her siblings, Donna Morton and Charles Bailey.

She is survived by: her children, Helen Rittinger of Kitchener, Bill Lanting (Pat) of Oakville, George Lanting (Arlene) of Atwood and Karen Lanting of Barrie; her grandchildren, Shelby, Amber, Kristen (Drew), Emily (Reid), Alyssa (Joel), Aaron, Druce and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Landon, Hailey, Paige, Wyatt, Isaac, Kyle, Kelly and Brynn; and her siblings, Harvey Bailey (Ruth), Lorne Bailey (Gail), Irene Hough and Ken Bailey.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
