He was predeceased by: his siblings, Attilio, Amaddeo, Arcangelo, Giovanni, Gino, Eliseo, Emilio, Giuseppe and Maria.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Vanin; his children, Paola Matthews (Grant), Andy Vanin (Tanya) and Louis Vanin; his grandchildren, Jessica (Tim), Katherine (Matt), Andrew, Greysen, Olivia, Liam and Emily; and his sister Bertilla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
