He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kay and Jesse Kay. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, David Kay (Elaine), Mary-Helen Bekking (Rob) and Tricia Kay-Mugford (Geoff Mugford); his grandchildren, Emily, Frances, Katie, Christian, Mary-Martha, Clare, Riley and Avery; and his sister Lois Gumprich (Walter).

Memorial donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or Youth Haven would be appreciated by the family.
