He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Mary; and his brothers, Darrell and Redmond. He is survived by: his spouse Henriette Hurley; his children, Darrell (Pierrette), Nicole Bergeron (Jocelyn) and Charles (Shirley Chang); his grandchildren, Alissa, Jessie, Kyle, Cameron, Malek, Jayden and Tanis; and his brother Allen.

The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe and have requested donations to the same in lieu of flowers.
