She was predeceased by: her spouse William A. Bell; her parents, Miyoji Sone and Katsu Sone; her brothers, Aki, Mike, Bill and Jim; and her niece Akiyo.

She is survived by: her sisters, Teiko (Kunio), Carole (Don), Anne (Ron) and Masa.
